History

1996

The Wangzhou Paper Mill in Cangnan County was established in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is a school-run enterprise affiliated with the No. 3 Middle School of Longgang Town, Cangnan County, and produces glass-coated cardstock (cast-coated paper).

2001

Due to expansion and relocation, the enterprise was restructured from a school-run factory into a private company and renamed Wenzhou Jinlan Paper Co., Ltd. The production facility expanded from approximately one mu to 20 mu, and the number of cast-coating production lines increased from two to eight.

2003

The company began transitioning to the production of inkjet photographic paper and established Shanghai Jinlan Paper Co., Ltd., which is responsible for expanding the market for photographic paper.

2009

A factory was established in the Jiading District of Shanghai, and Shanghai Jinlan Digital Printing Materials Co., Ltd. was founded.

2011

The company relocated to Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, and established Nantong Jinlan Digital Printing Materials Co., Ltd., while forging a strategic partnership with the global leader Shill in the field of water-based inkjet printing.

2015

Relocated to Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, and established Jiaxing Xinfa Digital Technology Co., Ltd., continuing the production of digital inkjet photographic paper.

2016

R&D on digital printing materials was initiated, and over the following years these materials steadily matured. The company subsequently established collaborations with leading global industry players, expanding its product portfolio from water-based inkjet printing materials to UV inkjet and low-solvent inkjet printing materials.

2024

The production lines have been comprehensively upgraded, with all outdated lines phased out and ten new intelligent coating and cast-coating integrated coating lines acquired.

2025

Shanghai Xinfa Digital Technology Co., Ltd. was established in Shanghai, responsible for the global promotion and sales of digital printing materials.
